As we enter into the technology generation, cameras have gone a long way since the days of an obscure. We now have full frame digital cameras, mirrorless cameras, and cameras that can fly. As I wrap my head around what all we can do with a camera and what all a camera do, I find myself going back to the days of glass plates. A time when photographs meant something. A time when you slowed down in the streets and really focused on the picture not the technology in a busy world. Every detail mattered then, you couldn't use photoshop on the computer to make the photo how you want it.

With the fast pace world and my love for vintage cameras, I have decided to make my own wooden camera out of mahogany wood. This camera will be an 8x10 camera that is capable of making glass plates and using film sheets.
