3-Day Workshop
Learn the old ways to enhance your digital photography. Don't let your camera be the calculator in you photographs. This 3 Day workshop will include photographing in the Wind River Mountain Range, learning how to develop your film, and learning how to make photographic prints from your film negatives. This workshop is a hands on workshop and you will get to use film cameras, medium and large format. You will get to take your photos and negatives home that you made. Film and film cameras will be provided for use.

Itinerary
Day One: If you arrive the night before, we'll shoot the sunrise. The workshop officially begins at 7 a.m. We will meet at the Hampton Inn parking lot in Pinedale, Wyoming to head up for breakfast. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner will be included for all three days. After breakfast, I will hand out film and to a quick review of how to load the film in each camera and an overview of operation for each camera. We will then head up to the mountains. We will unload and start hiking the trail. There are 5 different areas for the first day that we will stop at to photograph and each location you will have the chance to use the film cameras. You are welcome to bring your own camera or digital camera to take extra photos. We will have a nice picnic in the mountains and head back to the cars around 7 p.m. If everyone gets a roll of film or sheets of film photographed, then you will have the option to develop the film that night or wait till the second day. You will also get the choice to photograph the milky way at night.
Day Two: Same agenda, except we will be in a different location in the mountains and will head down for dinner around 5 p.m. We will eat dinner at the studio and after dinner, you will learn how to develop your film and then you will develop your film so it will be dry the next day.
Day Three: We will spend the morning developing any extra film and learn how to make prints from the negatives. Then you will make your prints.
Lodging
You will have your choice to stay as a group in a large canvas tent or stay at a discounted rate at the Hampton Inn. If you chose to stay at the lodge the room will be on you but it will be at a discounted rate. If you choose to stay in the canvas tent, bring a sleeping bag, air mattress or cot if you would like, and we will camp in the mountains.
Meals
One morning will be dutch oven mountain man breakfast, pancakes, and breakfast burritos the other mornings. Dinners will be all dutch oven, with dutch oven desert. Lunches will be up to the cook on preparing sandwiches. Please let me know if you have any food allergies. Desert may have nuts in it if there are no allergies to nuts.
